Appearance

The Anubis Dragon is embodies grace, resembling ancient Egyptian jackals

With contrasting tones of Black and Gold, the Anubis Dragon is distinctly recognizable amongst other dragon eggs. The Anubis Dragon's most distinctive feature is the golden tones, reflecting the sun rays like the surrounding sands.

Diet

The Anubis Dragons feed primarily on cacti and other desert plants.

A favorite snack of the Anubis Dragon is water lilies.

Special Abilities

Anubis Dragons have the unique ability commune with spirits of dragon departed, guiding them on their journey to the afterlife.

The Anubis Dragon is a rarity, with only a few to be found. It is said to bring an adventurer good fortune if they possess an Anubis Dragon Egg. With a secret power, Anubis dragons have been rumored to commune with ancient Dragon Elders, seeking their counsel in matters of great importance.

Habitat

The Anubis Dragon are found in desert climates, in hot dry weather and typically close to a water source or Oasis.

Making a home in ancient temples and burial chambers, the Anubis Eggs are a rarity to behold, with few found so far. Despite the desolation of their domain, Anubis Dragons are perfectly at home as silent guardians of the ancient Egyptian world.

Behaviors
Caring for a Dragon Egg
  • The Dragons will remain in their armored eggshell for many years, we have not yet discovered the hatching timeline.

  • In order to take the best care of one of our Dragon Eggs, Display upright in a stand like Crystal spheres, or in a safe place away from high edges it could fall off.

  • Not recommended to store in humid environments, like showers or bathrooms. Not recommended for hot direct sunny spots, some color vibrancy may fade overtime when exposed to direct sunlight, and/or (some) eggs may become tacky or sticky.

  • Metal armored egg shells are NOT microwave safe or oven safe.

The Anubis Dragon are quite solitary creatures, spending most of their time in quiet contemplation of their surroundings. Moving with an unmatched grace and speed, the Anubis Dragon is an intimidating encounter for the unprepared adventurer. Although seemingly independent and antisocial, the Anubis dragons make great companions, given trust is earned between dragon and adventurer.
